First blog post/e.l.f. stuff

Sooo. this is the first blog I've ever done. Ever.
Anywhoo, this is for my Youtube Channel, BargainBeauty365, so I suppose most of it shall be beauty-related.
To start off, I got my e.l.f. stuff today, and I must say, I am thoroughly disappointed. I ordered all the brushes (except the kabuki, which is out of stock) from their Studio line, as well as all of the eyeshadows. There are a few of the brushes that are ok--the powder brush feels amaaaaazingly dense and soft, and the blush and complexion brushes seem to be useable, but the rest were either disappointing, or nothing special.
Then there are the eyeshadows. HORRIBLE pigmentation. Even with a base/primer, they turn out very washed-out and light. I will definitely find uses for them, especially since I prefer lighter eye colors anyway, but my major problem with them is their lack of color. They have colors like Amethyst and Mystic Moss, which show up as purple and green, respectively, on the website, but they're more of a tinted brown.
That is all for now, but I'm sure I'll have plenty more mindless drivel later on.
